Experience and expertise.

Basecamp team members are carefully chosen for their expertise in creative services, strategy and project management. You’ll work directly with senior consultants who have years of proven marketing success and will take the time to fully understand your business and communications goals. 

Basecamp founder/creative director Eric Knudson is all about building brands, telling stories and bringing people and ideas together. A versatile and experienced manager, he has 20+ years of experience leading creative teams of designers, writers, account managers and other partners. 

Eric has worked with major corporations, small start-ups and just about everything in between. Some of the industries he has experience in includes banking/finance, healthcare, professional services, food/beverages, hospitality, senior housing and nonprofits. 

Strategist, manager, copywriter – Eric is a creative renaissance man with 20 years of marketing, advertising, public relations and consulting experience. Before founding Basecamp Communications in 2003, he held senior-level positions at wide range of high-profile Seattle-area companies and advertising agencies. When not minding the store, he can be found exploring the trails of the Methow Valley, pedaling the backroads of the Northwest or watching Premier League or Sounders FC fútbol.
